One UI 6.1.1 Update Upgrades Audio Equalizer for Enhanced Sound Experience

The One UI 6.1.1 update introduces enhancements to the Galaxy’s audio equalizer, aiming to elevate the sound experience. Tarun Vats, a reliable source on X, has provided insights into this update. Notably, Samsung has discreetly integrated new features into the audio equalizer without issuing any formal notification.

To access the new functionality, please navigate to Settings, proceed to Sound and Vibration, and select Sound Quality and Effects, followed by Equalizer.

The advanced preset system in the Galaxy S24 Ultra has been upgraded to utilize chips instead of radial selectors, allowing for larger sliders and providing a concise description of the selected preset. With the introduction of One UI 6.1.1, new names for equalizer options, including smooth, clear, bass boost, dynamic, and treble boost, have been implemented. This enhancement is poised to empower users to maximize their listening experience while maintaining uniform terminology across diverse device types.

Upon receiving the One UI 6.1.1 update, users can verify whether their Galaxy device has been equipped with the new functionality integrated into the audio equalizer. The One UI 6.1.1 update has been successfully deployed to a range of Galaxy devices including the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy S22, Galaxy Fold 5 & Flip 5, Galaxy Fold 4 & Flip 4, Galaxy Tab S9, and others.
